Syariah & Management

Department of Shariah and Management was established in 1996 with the main aims to produce graduates and experts in Islamic banking and finance, as well as in Islamic management. We offer both programs for undergraduates (UG) and also for postgraduates (PG). Our UG program is named as Bachelor in Muamalat Management. It is offered as an integrated course in the fields of Shariah, Islamic Management and Islamic Finance. As now in our department, we serve around 150 of UG students. We also offer thee PG program namely Master of Shariah (Islamic Management and Finance) and the PhD program in the main research fields of Islamic Management and Islamic Banking and Finance. Currently, we have approximately 108 PG students under the fields.
Many of our graduates are employed in the Islamic banking, Islamic organizations and also involved in entrepreneurship. We are committed to serve all of you in Islamic Finance and Islamic Management fields. We are also interested to collaborate research and networking in the above research fields as mentioned. We also have our own journal, Online Journal of Islamic Management and Finance (OJIMF), open to everyone to submit their articles for publication.
