Knowledge related to hadith is important in increasing the community's knowledge of Islamic sciences. Recognizing the position of hadith as the second source of Islamic law in addition to its role as an explanatory of the Qur'an, the Al-Quran & Al-Sunnah Studies Course Unit, the Academy of Islamic Studies intends to offer a second short-term course, namely the hadith study course
Among the main objectives of this course are:
a) Reveal to the Muslim community about the method of understanding the hadiths of the Prophet saw
b) Familiarize the Muslim community with the books of hadith muktabar.
c) To increase the Muslim community's understanding of the hadiths of the Prophet and then practice them in their daily lives.
Classes are held at the Seminar Room and Lecture Hall of the Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya Kuala Lumpur. This course is conducted in lectures delivered by lecturers.
• Malaysian.
• Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent
• Certificate of Participation - Participants must attend 80% of the class to qualify for a certificate of participation.
• Certificate of Pass - Participants must pass (40 passing marks) in the examination for all subjects offered. 80% attendance is required to qualify to sit for the examination.
The fees for each Module are as follows:
Tuition Fee: RM 600.00 (Including course notes)
Fees paid will not be refunded if participants fail to attend the course or for any reason unless the course is canceled by the organizer.
